Obama promised to dismantle Bushes tight security measures implimented because of 9/11. Obama has relaxed security measures somewhat stating that it’s not the threat it once was, and that he wants all wars to cease…
Congress however, thinks it’s a bad idea, that by relaxing key security measures, he’s actually reopening the door to terrorist attacks. I’d certainly be interested to know what’s going through your heads right now.
Is Obama going against what he promised to do here? No? He promised to dismantle The Bush Machine, but instead, has just gave it a tune up let’s say. Let’s say further that he has yet to close down Guatanamo Bay prison in Cuba, which Bush also had some intention of doing, though not as fervently as Obama.
If already told you what I think; I think the man is always on vacation. The stakes have risen now though. Now the game may become dangerous, and who are they going to blame but Obama if another terrorist attack were to occur in The United States? Believe me when I say from my heart of hearts, that racial predudism simply doesn’t enter into the matter. This now becomes global, which makes it a good thing that I always keep an eye on U.N. negotiations. I think the Presidency should be handed over to a woman. You don’t want to mess with them, even on a good day! LOL! I just don’t see the number for this emmence change he talked about making, and here you are, four years later (almost), in pretty much the same (if not worse) predicament when he took office.
What do you think? Do you think it’s a good time for hime to relax security measures considering presant world events or not? Me? I’m siding with congress and think it’s a bad idea right now. I know it’s a pain for American citizens to be strip searched when entering or leaving the country. They use X-Ray machines now don’t they?
