I’d like to lead an exemplary life;
Mindful of all before me!
If it’s all up to you,
Be compassionate too!
With an exemplary wife, I implore thee!
But there’s all these little, tiny bugs;
A dancing in my ear!
They know what to say:
‘Take him away!
Make sure that his dreams disappear!’
I’d like to epitomize a wonderful time;
And enhance the light of stars!
My love on display;
In some famous way!
Own Temples, climb mountains, chase cars!
But there’s always been this voice in my head;
What tells me not so true!
‘Fame is a flame;
that burns out in shame,
And that life-style is just not for you!
So if you’d like to have an exemplary thrill;
Mindful of all that may shine!
Move in for the kill;
Or be left out to chill!
And be mindful that your life is not mine!
