I grapple down from deep within;
Misery and disgust before me!
Who to trust and where to begin;
So far away from the story!
A pinch of hope for a pound of flesh;
Human darkness exchanging light!
All that will never again be found fresh;
As the heartless arranging of our plight!
Locked in a room without a door;
Walls that resonate with screams!
Many have been in this room before;
A tomb to desecrate dreams!
Faith in the filthy pit of all Mankind;
As if we’ve got nothing better to do!
Perhaps if you would sit and unwind;
You would see someone next to you!
Someone who would take your hand;
And relinquish all of your pain!
Impart some insight you can understand;
And free you up to begin again!
